The Tokyo 2020 Olympics is in full swing, with Team GB scooping up medals left right and centre. In the wake of all this, we thought we’d take a minute to celebrate the home-grown talent that makes up our country’s video games sector.
We’ve teamed up with the Taming Gaming Family Games Database - and asked a few bright sparks from the industry – to put together a list of some of the best games made right here in the UK.
Spanning a range of genres and age ratings, there’s something on there for everyone, from the feel good game of last summer, Fall Guys to the brooding battling brilliance of the Batman Arkham series.
We’ve also included classic big hitters such as Little Big Planet and Viva Pinata alongside smaller, independent games like Overcooked and TerraTech to show you the breadth of games made across the country.
