Come join us at The Electric Theatre for an intimate, exclusive and simply unmissable night taking the audience on a musical journey through video games, starting with the hottest new talent, pushing on to massive indie game soundtracks, and culminating in the music of one of the biggest sci-fi exploration games of all time.
All music includes writers of the original music playing live on stage. The evening includes multiple world-firsts, making it a true one-off music event.
We start the night by introducing you to some of the most exciting new talents from The Academy of Contemporary Music (ACM), playing tracks they have created as part of their work on their courses at the Academy. It's incredible music; a testament to the talent that's out there looking for their first opportunities in the industry.
Next we'll be diving into a special video games music segment with involvement from the audience, live-voting on the games we attack, as Soho Live Studios bring their world-class, diverse talents to the stage.
Following this we have the uber-talented Cassette Beasts team, playing their incredible soundtrack live for the first time ever, and featuring a six-piece in-house band including the original writer/guitarist, as well as the vocalist who performed on the original soundtrack.
Next we have the Vampire Survivors team, supported by the Bonus Stage Orchestra, performing their take on chiptune music that they call “epic, nostalgic, and unexpected, packed with rad riffs and high-impact drum fills alike”. This is guaranteed to be highly idiosyncratic, a lot of fun and include some fantastic surprises.
Rounding off the evening we have the No Man's Sky soundtrack played by the Bonus Stage Orchestra, helped by both Paul Wolinski of 65daysofstatic and Paul Weir, Audio Director of Hello Games. The orchestra will be playing a series of tracks from No Man's Sky, including some never heard before live, and some tracks that have never been heard before at all!
