As well as supporting UK games companies with their aspirations overseas, Ukie also provides key services that enable games business to thrive and expand and reach UK partners. Through a partnership with Creative Enterprise, Ukie manages and delivers the industry gold standard Scale-Up and Accelerator programmes.
The Scale-Up, which Ukie runs in partnership with Creative UK, offers an unrivalled six-month programme for games businesses who have already released a small number of games but are ready for a sustained period of expansion and success.
The intensive programme gives the companies access to industry experts, mentors, workshops and events that will see them grow fast and strong. This programme is open to 15 companies per cohort per year.
The Accelerator programme supports 30 start up companies as they begin their journey in the sector. Irrespective of the individuals experience, this programme offers amazing support for new businesses as they look to secure their foothold in the market.
Additionally, Ukie delivers a raft of services to help games businesses grow in the UK including –
· A 1-2-1 introductory service to connect developers to funders, platforms, and publishers
· UK developer showcases (three times a year) events where 15 UK studios are invited to present and pitch their games to publishers, investors, and the media
· A series of business networking events and industry talks from experts – including the annual Hub Crawl tour of the major games clusters, In 2021 over 700 UK games companies attended a Hub Crawl event
· The video vault of previous industry talks, all recorded and curated into one repository and free to access

The GREAT Britain campaign is a government funded multimillion pound international marketing campaign which showcases the very best of what Britain has to offer in its creative industries. It is designed to encourage people to do business in the UK. Ukie secures the games images which are featured as part of the campaign.
