Call for speakers for the Ukie Student Conference: Live 2022
The Ukie Student Conference will return virtually this year as a partner event at the London Games Festival on the 7th and 8th of April. The conference is a fantastic opportunity for our student member network of over 4000 university students to access exclusive talks from industry insiders from all areas of the sector, learning about different career paths and what it will take to build a successful career in games.
We're now looking for speakers to contribute to this years' conference. If you're in the games industry (in any sector), we're inviting you to submit a proposal for a talk that you would like to give for the next generation of games talent. The more diverse and interesting content that we can provide the students with the better, so let us know if you have a brilliant idea or experience you'd like to share with our student membership.
The usual layout for each speaker would be a 20minute presentation to give some background information about yourself and the topic of your choosing then a 10minute window for Q&A.
This is a brilliant opportunity for you to share your knowledge with the future stars of the games industry!
Key topics from past conferences have included:
- Art, animation & design
- Community management
- Development
- Discoverability
- eSports
- Graduate careers
- Internships
- Marketing
- Journalism
- PR
- Production
- Project management
- Virtual reality
If you'd like to speak at the conference in April, all you need to do is provide an outline of what you'd like to cover and some background information about yourself.
