Join us at the grand final of the Digital Schoolhouse Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Team Battle to discover how we engage the next generation with careers opportunities in the UK video games industry.

Ukie's Digital Schoolhouse together with Nintendo Switch, delivers its annual esports tournament to schools & colleges across the UK. In this immersive careers education experience, students aged 12-18 years participate as players or fulfil professional esports roles crafted by the video games industry, for education. 

Proven to enhance students’ practical and soft skills development, our tournaments enable aspiring young people to immerse themselves in the exciting world of games whilst increasing their engagement in computing and careers education at the same time.

On the day

Having battled it out in the regional qualifiers and the semi-finals throughout February and March, four of our best teams will compete in the grand final at the Gfinity Arena for the title of UK Esports Champions 2022.

COVID-19 policy

All attendees are required to take a Lateral Flow Test on the morning of the event. Attendees should only attend the event if their Lateral Flow Test is negative. Digital Schoolhouse will follow the government guidelines and venue guidelines with regards to COVID-19 at the time of the event.

The Digital Schoolhouse Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Team Battle reached an estimated 10,000 pupils in schools & colleges across the UK in the last academic year.

This immersive experience provides a unique insight into the creative digital sector, to promote homegrown talent and to enable students to aspire to careers pathways they may not have otherwise considered.
