The Digital Schoolhouse Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Team Battle is back.
Ukie's Digital Schoolhouse together Nintendo UK provides an immersive careers education experience for students who are passionate about a career in the Creative Digital sector. Students aged 12-18 years can participate as players or fulfil professional roles crafted by the video games industry, for education.

How to register:
- If you are a Schoolhouse, please select the ticket type "I'm a Certified Schoolhouse"
- If you are an external school or college, please select ticket type "I'm an external school/college*"
*External schools/colleges refer to academic institutions that are not part of the Digital Schoolhouse programme in the academic year 2022-2023. Please note that there is a charge for external participants to take part in the tournament (£79.99 + VAT + £80 refundable deposit).

Tournament timeline:
- Monday 3 October 2022 - Tuesday 31st January 2022: School heats | Format: SCHOOL'S CHOICE
- February - March 2023: Regional qualifiers | Format: PHYSICAL
- March 2023: Semi-finals | Format: PHYSICAL
- April 2023: Grand final | Format: PHYSICAL
COVID-19:
We will continue to monitor social distancing and COVID safety measures recommended by government and implement these throughout our tournament. In line with current guidance the Regional Qualifiers and Semi-Finals will be in-person physical events, however, should governement guidance change then we reserve the right to hold these online, remotely. Technical requirements:
To run the tournament in the School Heats, Regional Qualifiers and Semi-finals stage of the competition, educational institutions will need a minimum of the below equipment:
- 1 x Nintendo Switch console (standard, not Lite version)
- 1 x extra pair of Joy-Con controllers
- 1 x monitor or TV screen with HDMI input
- 1 x copy of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
If the Regional Qualifiers and Semi-finals are held remotely, then institutions will need:
- 1 x Nintendo Switch online account
- 1 x Ethernet to USB adapter is recommended to provide your Switch with a stable internet connection
