Ukie Student Conference returns to University of Staffordshire for 10th Anniversary!
10 years on from the inaugural Ukie Student Conference, the annual sell-out event returns on 23 October 2024 at University of Staffordshire and online to mark this special anniversary.
Ukie Student Conference, in association with Epic Games, is a fun, free and enriching day of talks and networking for students and the video games industry. Over the past 10 years, Ukie has welcomed 7,000 attendees to 19 Student Conferences, hosted at prestigious institutions including University of Staffordshire, Abertay University and London South Bank University, and at major UK video games events like the London Games Festival and WASD. Hundreds of industry professionals from companies such as Epic Games, Flix Interactive, PlayStation, Creative Assembly, Sharkmob, Hi-Rez Studios and Jagex have attended and supported the Conference.
To celebrate this occasion, Ukie will be welcoming returning industry speakers from the inaugural Conference in 2014, plus a special panel of alumni to reflect on their careers so far. Attendees will have the opportunity to build their professional networks in the Exhibitor Area, get their CV or portfolio reviewed in 1-2-1 sessions, and play games with developers in the tabletop networking hour. The full line-up of talks will also be livestreamed on the Ukie Twitch channel and University of Staffordshire Games Twitch channel.
