10 Resources for Safer Internet Day 2021

Families and schools, we’ve pulled together some useful resources that will help keep your children safe online.

Since 2011, UK Safer Internet Centre - a partnership of Childnet International, Internet Watch Foundation and SWGfL as appointed by the European Commission - has promoted the safe and responsible use of technology for young people. Since, Safer Internet Day has been recognised around the world and this year’s theme in the UK is:

An internet we trust: exploring reliability in the online world.

Safer Internet Day 2021 (9 February) celebrates the wealth and range of information and opportunities online, and its potential to inform, connect and inspire us, whilst also looking at how young people can separate fact from fiction.

As in previous years, we’ve signed up as a 2021 supporter and we’ve pledged:

To continue to promote resources for families and schools on how to play games safely and responsibly.
